Your Disneyland Sanity Saver: Why we will always be renting a stroller with BabyQuip

Going to Disneyland is magical, but let’s be real—the logistics can be a total nightmare. If you’ve traveled with kids, you know the drill. You play Tetris with the trunk of the car, trying to jam suitcases, coolers, and lovies in around the massive stroller. Or, if you’re flying, you deal with the hassle of dragging it through the airport and praying it survives the gate check.

On our last trip, we tried something that completely changed the game: BabyQuip. If you haven’t heard of them, they are basically the “Megastore of all things baby gear,” and I am officially telling all my friends (that’s you!) that you need this in your life for your next Disney run. We rented our stroller from BabyQuip, and I am never going back.

The Magic of “Already There”

First of all, driving down without a stroller in the back? Magical. It was so nice to actually have trunk space! We didn’t feel crammed, and packing the car was stress-free.

The absolute best part? The convenience. Since we drove down this time we wanted to take advantage of being able to pack our own waters (we’re picky and love Smart water for Disneyland days), sodas (why can’t Disneyland have Diet Dr Pepper?), snacks etc that normally take up so much room it’s just not practical.

Even better, Laura was an absolute gem. She had our stroller delivered to the hotel before we even pulled into the lobby. It was literally waiting for us right as we checked in. No waiting around, no hassle—just grab the stroller and go.

The MVP: The Baby Jogger City Mini GT2

We decided to rent the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, and oh my gosh, it was a breeze to push. Even with two very different weights of kids, it handled like a dream.

  • For the 6-year-old: She could easily climb in and out whenever her “Disney legs” got tired.
  • For the 2-year-old: When she hit her limit, the seat lays almost completely flat. Combined with the full sun shade, it created a perfect, quiet little “nap cave” right in the middle of the park.

The Accessories You Didn’t Know You Needed

Laura was so helpful in helping us pick the right gear. She suggested adding the snack tray and the parent organizer, and she was 100% right.

  • The snack tray was perfect for holding a water bottle and snacks without everything ending up on the ground.
  • The parent organizer was the perfect size for my phone, a portable charger, and my own water bottle. Everything was right at my fingertips.

More Than Just Strollers

We focused on the wheels but BabyQuip has everything. If you’re staying at a hotel or Airbnb and need a crib, a high chair, or even a box of toys to keep the kids busy while you get ready, they have it all. It makes traveling with toddlers feel actually doable.

A Special Gift for You!

Laura even tucked a sweet little surprise into our rental, which was such a thoughtful touch. The girls actually squealed when I told them to go look in the stroller (look in the seats on my pic) And guess what? She’s offered to do the same for our readers!
